Morristown Medical Center – Mother / Baby Services

The Mother / Baby Services project at Morristown Medical Center was highlighted in the ‘Project Watch ‘ feature of the June/July 2016 issue of Healthcare Design Magazine.  This multi-phased projects expanded and renewed the state-of-the-art facilities while creating a staff efficient layout and providing hotel-style facilities for patients and their families.

Morristown Medical Center – Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit

The ‘Sam’s NICU’ renovation project at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, was the first private room NICU opened in the state of New Jersey was  featured in the ‘Showcase Edition – 2009’ of HEALTHCARE DESIGN magazine, and was presented for its innovative design at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium in Chicago in September 2009.

 

Overlook Medical Center – Pediatric Sub-Specialties Offices

The project consolidated all of the Pediatric Sub-Specialties at Overlook into a single, uplifting and energetic suite in the connected medical office building.  The design includes energetic colors, finishes, details and lighting providing positive distraction and comfort for the young patients, in a layout which allows scheduling flexibility and shared exam space for the different specialties.

Morristown Medical Center – Gagnon Heart Hospital Addition

The project added over 300,000 s.f. and 108 private beds to the Morristown Medical Center campus in a multi-phase, multi-year project.  Buckl Architects designed the primary clinical units and patient bed floors, including four cardiac bed units, two intensive care units, multiple outpatient clinics and cardiac access and recovery units.
