CENTER FOR SLEEP MEDICINE
Upon the success of the AHS: Overlook Hospital, Center for Sleep Medicine project, Mountainside Hospital elected to renovate six under utilized patient rooms in their North Pavilion building into a four room sleep center of their own. The ability to expand to an eight-room center was planned for, as the business grows. Interior finishes where selected and applied in a manner that creates a “restful” environment. Existing medical gas columns where left in place and thoughtfully concealed by a “headwall shroud” thereby eliminating the “clinical” patient room feeling, yet allowing for access to med gasses via gliding artwork
